Last friday, October 3, 2025, at the SAMOA Industrial headquarters in Gijón, we signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Asturias (AECC), through which we became the fifth Asturian company recognized as an “Active Company Against Cancer.”
With this agreement, SAMOA Industrial reinforces its commitment to the health of our employees and to society as a whole by supporting actions aimed at cancer prevention and early detection, the improvement of quality of life for patients and families, and the promotion of cancer research.
The AECC grants participating companies a physical and digital distinction that certifies their commitment, while also promoting internal programs focused on raising awareness, encouraging healthy lifestyle habits, and strengthening prevention efforts against the disease.

At SAMOA Industrial, we are proud to be part of this initiative and to join forces with AECC within its 2025–2029 Strategic Plan “Reaching More,” which seeks to generate long-term impact, foster synergies, and increase social contribution.
