OWA (Odenwald Faserplattenwerk GmbH), a renowned company in ceiling panel manufacturing, was facing challenges in its painting line. To apply the paint to the panels, it needed to be pumped from a tank at low pressure to avoid turbulence and the formation of bubbles, which would affect the product's finish. The 1-1/2” diaphragm pump from a competing brand that they were using was unable to start, causing the tank to overflow and production to be interrupted. This led to increased costs due to paint waste, cleaning, maintenance, and downtime.

This is how we face the project

After analyzing the customer’s issues, the competing 1-1/2” double diaphragm pump was replaced with SAMOA’s new 1-1/2” UP15. From the start, our UP15 was able to start up with the same supply pressure at which the competitor’s pump failed. Downtime and paint waste were eliminated. The SAMOA UP15, thanks to its low pulsation and optimized design, maintains a steady flow that prevents bubble formation and ensures a high-quality finish.
